The Rocks Care is the initiative of The Rocks Church, a multi-cultural, multi-generational Australian church that is FOR the community. Our slogan, “No Perfect People Allowed,” serves as a constant reminder that no one is perfect but everyone deserves a second chance.
The Rocks Care is our way to let our community know that we are FOR them.
A Christian organisation, we apply the following Christian values in whatever we do, both internally and externally:
Generosity
This is the core Christian value of being kind and unselfish, especially with our finances and time
Courage
Boldness and confidence in whatever we do and wherever we go
Love
Love is a fundamental characteristic of God and it’s a value to describe all His children and believers too
Respect
God has created all people in His image, so we have to show respect to all of His creations
Hope
It is confidence and assurance in God for our future
Peace
It’s a gift from God that we have to maintain in our society, country and the world.
The RocksCare Network expects to extend our values to reach out and help a wider community in a nondiscriminatory manner, regardless of their race, colour, gender, age, faith, disability, marital status, sexual orientation. We will also ensure that our community services are accessible and welcoming to all clients, including the Aboriginal and Torres Islanders, people from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds and people with disabilities and special needs.
